CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 83-274 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR VALLEY AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN HANSEN DRIVE AND THE ARROYO DEL VALLE AND APPROVING STREET IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT WITH PONDEROSA HOMES I~HEREAS, Ponderosa Homes proposed to improve Valley Avenue between Hansen Drive and the Arroyo del Valle as part of their development, which improvements are part of the long-term agreement dated August 24, 1982; and V~EREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared for the proposed street improvements; and WHEREAS, a Street Improvement Agreement has been prepared which incorporates the specifications and require- ments for the proposed street improvements; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 12, 1983, the City Council reviewed the plans and specifications and the Street Improvement Agreement along with the staff report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for the proposed street improvements of Valley Avenue between Hansen Drive and the Arroyo del Valle exceDt as to the sound wall. Section 2: Directs that the design of the sound wall shown on said plans shall be subject to design review and that abutting property owners be given notice of that design review hearing. Section 3: Approves the Street Improvement Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Ponderosa Homes, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 4: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the above-described agreement. Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoDtion.
