CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-268 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO ALDRICH <br />BROTHERS PIPELINE FOR SANITARY SEllER LINE REPLACE- <br />MENT ON VARIOUS CITY STREETS, PROJECT NO. 83-9 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for <br />sanitary sewer line replacement on various city <br />streets, Project No. 83-9; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on July 12, <br /> 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the bid of Aldrich Brothers PiDeline, in the <br />amount of $41,169.00 was determined to be the <br />lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br />that the bid of Aldrich Brothers Pipeline be <br />accepted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the available funds to complete this project are <br />$60,000; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The bid of Aldrich Brothers PiDeline, in the <br />amount of $41,169.00, for sanitary sewer line <br />replacement on various city streets, Project No. <br />83-9, is hereby accepted by the City Council as <br />the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City is authorized to enter into a contract <br /> with Aldrich Brothers Pipeline for the improvements <br /> specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 12, 19B3 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
