CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-254 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />pU~ ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL OF A <br />232 UNIT GARDEN APARTMENT PROJECT ON APPROXIMATELY <br />11 ACRES LOCATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA <br />RITA ROAD AND THE ARROYO MOCHO CANAL (PUD-83-9) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 28, 1983, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for the <br />PUD zoning and development plan approval of a 232 <br />unit garden apartment project on an approximately <br />11 acre site located immediately south of the Arroyo <br />Mocho, approximately 1500 feet east of the intersection <br />of Santa Rita Road and the Arroyo Mocho Canal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated May 31, 1983 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Cormmission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />rezoning and development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning to <br />PUD-High Density Residential District and development <br />plan approval would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Planned Unit <br /> Development zoning and development plan approval of a <br /> 232 unit garden apartment project on an approximately <br /> 11 acre site located immediately south of the Arroyo <br /> Mocho, approximately 1500 feet east of the intersection <br /> of Santa Rita Road and the Arroyo Mocho Canal. <br /> <br /> <br />
