CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-254 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR pU~ ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL OF A 232 UNIT GARDEN APARTMENT PROJECT ON APPROXIMATELY 11 ACRES LOCATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA RITA ROAD AND THE ARROYO MOCHO CANAL (PUD-83-9) WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 28, 1983, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for the PUD zoning and development plan approval of a 232 unit garden apartment project on an approximately 11 acre site located immediately south of the Arroyo Mocho, approximately 1500 feet east of the intersection of Santa Rita Road and the Arroyo Mocho Canal; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated May 31, 1983 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Cormmission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and development plan; and WHEREAS , the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS , the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning to PUD-High Density Residential District and development plan approval would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Planned Unit Development zoning and development plan approval of a 232 unit garden apartment project on an approximately 11 acre site located immediately south of the Arroyo Mocho, approximately 1500 feet east of the intersection of Santa Rita Road and the Arroyo Mocho Canal.
