CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-249 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONCEPTUAL DESIGN FOR FOOTHILL <br />RESERVOIR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />one of the most needed improvements to the City's <br />water system and one of the major items expected <br />to be included in the North Pleasanton Water <br />Assessment District is the proposed Foothill <br />Reservoir; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Camp, Dresser, and McKee, Inc. have completed <br />their study of the site, typing and sizing of the <br />reservoir and have presented proposed designs to <br />the City for review: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Approves the conceptual design for an 8 million <br /> gallon reservoir at the existing Foothill Road <br /> site as recommended by Camp, Dresser and McKee, <br /> Inc. <br /> <br />Section 2: Directs the staff to prepare detailed descriptions <br /> and cost estimates for work to be included in the <br /> North Pleasanton Water Assessment District and an <br /> appropriate petition for formation of the District. <br /> The petition and work description are to be reviewed <br /> by the City Council prior to circulation. <br /> <br />Section 3: Directs the staff to continue negotiations with <br /> Prudential concerning advance funding for right- <br /> of-way acquisitions, reservoir design, and reservoir <br /> site work in order to expedite construction of the <br /> Foothill Reservoir. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective irmnediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 28, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Vice <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~NNE~ ~~ <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br /> <br /> <br />
