CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-248 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF EAST ANGELA STREET RESURFACING, <br />PROJECT NO. 83-4, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS <br />PAYMENT TO O'GRADY PAVING, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by O'Grady Paving, Inc. on the East Angela <br />Street resurfacing, Project No. 83-4, has been <br />satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the East An~ela Street resurfacing is <br /> hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The Director of Finance is instructed to DreDare <br />a warrant in the amount of $5,782.50 in favor of <br />O'Grady PavinR, Inc. in satisfaction of the final <br />progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br />Project No. 83-4. Ten percent (10%) of the total <br />contract or $9,019.04 will be retained until <br />thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br />Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 28, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Vice Mayor <br /> Mercer ~RC~F~'~ <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> R, VICE MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter D.
