CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-239 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANT APPLICATION FOR PARK <br />RESTORATION AND URBAN REFORESTATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the California Resources Agency has made funds <br />available for park restoration and urban reforest- <br />ation with preference being given to projects <br />under $20,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Council received a report from the Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities (SR 83:232) outlining <br />the proposed projects and requesting authority to <br />submit a grant application; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Authorizes submission of a grant application for <br /> funds under the Park Restoration and Urban Reforest- <br /> ation Program. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 14, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Vice <br />Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br />/~jj KENNETH R. <br /> J/aiker, City Clerk ~ <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />MERCER, VICE MAYOR <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> ~ M At t orneyt <br /> <br /> <br />
