CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-235 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE CLAIM OF PACIFIC TELEPHONE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on April 13, 1983, the City of Pleasanton received <br />a claim filed on behalf of Pacific Telephone for <br />damages to one of their cables on March 4, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 14, 1983, the City Council reviewed the claim <br /> and determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The claim of Pacific Telephone for damages to an <br /> underground cable is hereby denied. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective imm_ediately <br /> upon its Dassage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 14, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Vice Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler .q~~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />c orney <br /> <br /> <br />
