CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-234 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE CLAIM OF WILLIAM AIMSTRONG <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on April 12, 1983, the City of Pleasanton received a <br />claim in the amount of $15,500 filed on behalf of <br />William Armstrong for damages resulting from an <br />arrest incident on March 17, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 14, 1983, the City Council reviewed the <br /> claim and determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAS~ITON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The claim presented on ADril 12, 1983, against the <br /> City of Pleasanton in the sum of $15,500 on behalf of <br /> William Armstrong from damages resulting from an <br /> incident on March 17, 1983 is hereby denied. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 14, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Vice Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None K'~E~NETH~ECR, V~R <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter .
