CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-232 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE <br />UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA COOPERATIVE EXTENSION <br />4-H CLUB FOR A 5K RUN PErmIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the University of California Cooperative Extension <br />4-H Club is requesting approval of a permit application <br />to hold a five kilometer run on Saturday, June 25, 1983; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this event is being held for the purpose of raising <br /> funds for local 4-H groups; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council received a report from the Assistant <br />to the City Manager (SR 83:216) regarding the details <br />of the proposed event and recommending approval by <br />the City Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of the University of <br /> California Cooperative Extension 4-H Club for the <br /> 5K run subject to all conditions set forth by the <br /> Police Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: The 1982-83 fiscal year budget is amended by <br /> approximately $158.00 to offset the costs of the <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 14, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Vice Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None NETH R.~O <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> R <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />2ROVED AS TO FOtLM: <br /> <br /> r M~cDona~d, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
