CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-222 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO McREYNOLDS <br />PAVING, INC FOR SLURRY SEALING ON VARIOUS CITY <br />STREETS, PROJECT NO. 83-8 <br /> <br />I~HEREAS, <br /> <br />the City prepared plans <br />sealing on various city <br />and <br /> <br />and specifications for slurry <br />streets, Project No. 83-8; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on June 14, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the bid of McReynolds Paving, Inc., <br />of $36,099 was determined to be the <br />bid; and <br /> <br />in the amount <br />lowest responsible <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br />that the bid of McReynolds Paving, Inc. be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The bid of McReynolds Paving, INc., in the <br />amount of $36,099, for slurry sealing on various City <br />streets, Project No. 83-8, is hereby accepted by <br />the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2: The City is authorized to <br /> with McReynolds Paving, Inc. <br /> specified above. <br /> <br />enter into a contract <br />for the improvements <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 14, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> NOES: None _~z~~ N~~~~'~''~ <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br /> <br />~~. ~alker,~/ty Cle½k ~PPROVED S TO FO M: <br /> <br /> <br />
