CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-221 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT <br />LANCE RUCKTESCHLER TO THE MINOR OFFENSE COURT <br />ADVISORY BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Pleasanton Police Department established a Minor <br />Offense Court to held deal with juvenile cases at a <br />local level, if possible, without referrin~ the <br />juveniles to court; and <br /> <br />~tEREAS, <br /> <br />the Minor Offense Court consists of citizens who <br />volunteer their time to serve the community, with <br />appointments made by the Chief of Police and confirmed <br />by the City Council; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council received a report from the Chief of <br />Police dated June 1, 1983, recommending the appointment <br />of Robert Lance Ruckteschler; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASA~ITON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council hereby confirms the appointment of <br />Robert Lance Ruckteschler to serve on the Advisory <br />Board of the Minor Offense Court. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 14, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Vice Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None ~ETH~CE ,~R <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, DePuty City Clerk <br /> <br /> PROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter D.
