CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-217 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING THE PLEASANTON HOUSING GROUP, <br />INC. ACCESS TO RAP/GMP HOUSING TRUST FUND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc. is a nonprofit <br />organization established to implement low cost <br />housing in the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the City Council meeting of February 11, 1983, <br />staff was directed to evaluate a request on the <br />part of the Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc. (PHGI) <br />for assistance in getting its first housing <br />project off the ground; and <br /> <br />I.MEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 24, 1983, the City Council <br />received and reviewed an in depth report on the <br />PHGI sponsored housing project from the Director <br />of Planning and Community Development; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The City Council hereby grants the Pleasanton <br /> Housing Group, Inc. access to as much as $18,000.00 <br /> from the P~P/GMP housing trust fund subject to the <br /> following conditions: <br /> <br />That PHGI commit itself to producing a comprehensive <br />plan for review and approval by the City for <br />housing development at a suitable location in <br />the general vicinity of the corporation yard <br />south of Bernal Avenue extension and at least <br />25% of the project to be reserved solely for <br />lower income households as defined by the <br />City. This plan is to be based on a comprehensive <br />site feasibility study and completed within a <br />reasonable period of time with specific <br />findings and conclusions on options the City <br />Council can act upon (i.e., within one year). <br /> <br />That the staff be directed to assist PHGI and <br />its consultants in developing and presenting <br />a workable plan for housing development in <br />the subject area meeting the City's housing <br />element goals. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
