CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-217 RESOLUTION GRANTING THE PLEASANTON HOUSING GROUP, INC. ACCESS TO RAP/GMP HOUSING TRUST FUND WHEREAS, Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established to implement low cost housing in the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of February 11, 1983, staff was directed to evaluate a request on the part of the Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc. (PHGI) for assistance in getting its first housing project off the ground; and I.MEREAS, at its meeting of May 24, 1983, the City Council received and reviewed an in depth report on the PHGI sponsored housing project from the Director of Planning and Community Development; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council hereby grants the Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc. access to as much as $18,000.00 from the P~P/GMP housing trust fund subject to the following conditions: That PHGI commit itself to producing a comprehensive plan for review and approval by the City for housing development at a suitable location in the general vicinity of the corporation yard south of Bernal Avenue extension and at least 25% of the project to be reserved solely for lower income households as defined by the City. This plan is to be based on a comprehensive site feasibility study and completed within a reasonable period of time with specific findings and conclusions on options the City Council can act upon (i.e., within one year). That the staff be directed to assist PHGI and its consultants in developing and presenting a workable plan for housing development in the subject area meeting the City's housing element goals. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
