CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-216 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR OLD SANTA RITA ROAD IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY AND CALLAHAN-PENTZ PROPERTIES WHEREAS the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his report dated May 18, 1983, advised the City Council that plans and specifications had been completed for improvements to Old Santa Rita Road between Santa Rita Road and 1-580, including widening and improvement of the existing roadway and installation of storm drainage line, waterline, sanitary sewer line and landscaping; and ~{EREAS developers of Hacienda Business Park have offered to undertake these improvements despite the fact that approval of PUD-81-30 has been set aside by the Alameda Superior Court and their is no guarantee that the project will be able to proceed as planned; and ~{EREAS based on the Initial Environmental Study, a mitigated negative declaration was adopted by Council on May 24, 1983; and ~EREAS a duly noticed Dublic hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the DroDosed street improvements; NOW, TttEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the plans and sDecifications for the improvements of'Old Santa Rita Road between Santa Rita Road and 1-580 as described herein, subject to the following conditions: The final design for the project shall provide adequate provisions to reduce and control any erosion and sedimentation affecting the Tassajara Creek during and after construction. The final design for the project shall provide adequate provisions for dust controls during construction.
