CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-215 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR OLD SANTA RITA ROAD IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 24, 1983, the City Council received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for improvements to Old Santa Rita Road between Santa Rita Road and 1-58Q; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated May 16, 19B3 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed improvements; and ~HEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and I,MEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environment, but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant; and WHEREAS , the City Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- mentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations render these Dotential impacts insignificant; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves a Mitigated Negative Declaration for improvements to Old Santa Rita Road between Santa Rita Road and 1-580, subject to the following mitiRating conditions: The final design for the project shall provide adequate Drovisions to reduce and control any erosion and sedimentation affecting the Tassajara Creek during and after construction.
