CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-214 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND AGREEMENT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENTS OF STONERIDGE DRIVE BETWEEN HOPYARD <br />ROAD AND JOHNSON DRIVE AND INSTALLATION OF 30 INCH <br />SEWER LINE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />plans for the necessary improvements to Stoneridge <br />Drive between Hopyard Road'and Johnson Drive have <br />been completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Prudential Insurance Company and Callahan-Pentz <br />Properties have offered to construct the improvements <br />despite the fact that approval of PUD-81-30 has been <br />set aside by the Alameda Superior Court and there is <br />no guarantee that the Droject will be able to Droceed <br />as planned; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an agreement has been drafted containing the Dlans <br />and specifications of the work required together <br />with the consideration for Prudential Insurance <br />Company and Callahan-Pentz Properties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a study prepared for this area indicates the <br />present East Amador Valley Trunk Sewer is inadequate <br />for the expected flow and the improvements when <br />made should be spread among those property owners <br />directly benefitting from the improvements through <br />the North Pleasanton Assessment District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 24, 1983, the City Council <br /> reviewed the above plans and agreement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: ApprQvea thelplans for the improvements to <br /> Stoneridge Drive between Hopyard Road and Johnson <br /> Drive. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2: Approves the agreement with Prudential Insurance <br /> Company and Callahan-Pentz Properties regarding <br /> the above street imDrovements, a coDy of which is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the above agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
