CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-212 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLA- RATION FOR SANTA RITA ROAD I}~PROVEMENTS BETWEEN SUTTER GATE AVENUE A~ID 1-580 AND PIMLICO DRIVE IMPROVEMErITS BETWEEN SANTA RITA ROAD ArID BROCKTON DRIVE I~MEREAS, at its meeting of May 24, 1983, the City Council received a proposed mitigated ne%ative declaration for improvements to Santa ~ita Road between Sutter Gate Avenue and 1-580 and Pimlico Drive between Santa Rita Road and Brockton Drive; and ~IH{EREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated April 6, 1983, revised ~{av 16, 1983, and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and V~EREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the oDDortunity to comment on the environmental imDacts of the proposed imProve- ments; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and ~tEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environment, but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant; and I~EREAS, the City Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing, there may be signiflcant i~DactS on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations render these potential impacts insi%nificant; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves a Mitigated Ne%ative Declaration for improvements to Santa Rita Road between Butter Gate Avenue and 1-580 and Pimlico Drive improvements between Santa Rita Road and Brockton Drive, subject to the following mitigating conditions:
