WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-209 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF MEADOW PLAZA <br />ASSOCIATES FOR A RESIDENTIAL PROJECT AT SANTA RITA <br />ROAD AND WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD <br /> <br />Meadow Plaza Associates applied for approval of a <br />162-unit residential project and prior to the <br />Planning Commission meeting modified that plan to <br />156 units at Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas; <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 9, 1983, the Planning <br />Commission denied the application of Meadow Plaza <br />Associates for a 156-unit residential project <br />(PUD-83-3); and <br /> <br />within the required time period, applicant appealed <br />the decision to the City Council; and <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 12, 1983, the City Council <br />considered the staff report for AP-83-3, which <br />included a change in the original plan reducing it <br />to 126 units, and took testimony on the project; <br />and <br /> <br />after the hearing on April 12, 1983, Council <br />referred the amended plan back to the Planning <br />Commission for their review and recommendation; <br />and <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 27, 1983, the Planning <br />Commission reviewed the amended plans and received <br />testimony from the applicant and the public; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission recommended approval of <br />the application for a 126-unit development subject <br />to various conditions; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held by the City <br />Council on May 24, 1983 to consider the project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council hereby denies the application <br />of Meadow Plaza Associates for PUD zoning and <br />development plan approval for a 126-unit residential <br />project at Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas <br />Boulevard (PUD~83-3 as modified pursuant to AP-83-3). <br /> <br /> <br />
