CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-206 ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM FIRST NATIO~IDE SAVINGS TO THE CITY OF PLEASA~ITON FOR IMPROVEMENT OF DUBLIN CANYON ROAD WHEREAS, the Alameda County Right-of-Way Department has succeeded in acquiring on behalf of the City of Pleasanton a Darcel of land from First Nationwide Savings; and WHEREAS, this land is necessary for the construction of imDrovements to Dublin Canyon Road; and WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the documents and finds everything to be in order including the purchase price, which conforms to the appraisal accepted by the County on behalf of the City; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 24, 1983, the City Council reviewed the report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this Grant Deed is in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Authorizes acceptance of the Grant Deed from First Nationwide Savings to the City of Pleasanton for right-of-way purposes for improvements to Dublin Canyon Road. Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to execute the Certificate of Acceptance of Real Property. Section 3: Authorizes staff to deposit $211,385.00 in escrow for the purchase of said DroDerty. Section 4: Authorizes the Director of Public Works to execute the Real Property Purchase Contract. Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adomtion.
