CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-198 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION, <br />SANTA RITA ROAD AND MOHR AVE~E, PROJECT N0. <br />82-6, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO <br />STEINY AND COMPANY, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Steiny and Company, Inc. on the construction <br />for traffic signal installation at Santa Rita Road <br />and Mohr Avenue, Project No. 82-6, has been satis- <br />factorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the construction for traffic signal <br /> installation at Santa Rita Road and Mohr Avenue is <br /> hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $3,498.08 in favor of <br /> Steiny and Company, Inc. in satisfaction of the <br /> final progress payment for the above-accepted work <br /> on Project No. 82-6. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $7,902.50 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 24, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ld C t At <br /> e er . ac ona , 1 y torney <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
