CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-193 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DELEUW CATHER TO PREPARE AM <br />APPLICATION FOR PUC FUNDING OF SANTA RITA ROAD <br />GRADE SEPARATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Council has expressed an interest in applying for <br />funding from the Public Utilities Commission for <br />construction of the Santa Rita grade separation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the firm of DeLeuw Cather & Co. have been consulted <br /> in this regard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is their estimate that the cost of Dreparing <br />the nomination and appearing at the PUC hearing <br />would be $1,500; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Council hereby authorizes DeLeuw Cather & Co. to <br />proceed to prepare the nomination to the Public <br />Utilities Commission to request funding for Santa <br />Rita Road grade separation. <br /> <br />Authorizes the expenditure of up to $1,500 to <br />cover the costs for this application for funding. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 10, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
