CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-190 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY <br />THE NEW FEDERAL JOB BILL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Alameda County will be receiving an additional <br />$1,035,000 in Community DeveloDment Block Grant <br />funds as part of the recently enacted Federal Job <br />Bill; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton will receive approximately <br />$74,100 to be used to fund various projects which <br />meet Community Development Block Grant Program <br />criteria; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Planning and Community Development <br />presented his staff report dated May 5, 1983 to <br />the Council which outlined those projects recommended <br />by the Human Services Commission; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The following projects are selected for funding <br /> by the New Federal Job Bill: <br /> <br />Housing Authority - Kottinger Place roof <br />repairs $8,700 <br /> <br />b. Pleasanton Gardens Dublic works Droject to <br /> solve flooding problems $35,000 up to <br /> $44,400; <br /> <br />c. Kaleidoscope Center - $21,000; and <br /> <br />Any remaining funds from the Pleasanton <br />Gardens public works project being designated <br />to be allocated to the Kaleidoscope Center. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 10, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
