CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOP~IA RESOLUTION NO. 83-187 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PROCEED WITH ABATEMENT OF WEEDS, ~IBBISH OR REFUSE UPON OR IN FRONT OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHICH CONSTITUTE PUBLIC NUISANCES WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 12, 1983, Council adopted Resolution No. 83-150, declaring as a public nuisance all weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton as more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A" attached thereto; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 83-150 was adopted pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Sections 39501- 39588; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 83-150 designated May 10, 1983, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., at the Pleasanton City Council Chambers, as the time, date and place to hear and consider objections to the abatement and removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton more Darticularly set forth in Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 83-150; and WHEREAS , the Fire Prevention Officer was char~ed with the responsibility to perform the duties imposed by Government Code Sections 39560-39588, and he did prepare notices to destroy weeds and remove rubbish and refuse, and did in the time and manner prescribed by law cause copies of the notice to be conspicuously posted on or in front of the property where the nuisance exists; the City did mail written notice of the proposed abatement to all persons owning property described in Resolution No. 83-150 in the time, form and manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a public hearing on May 10, 1983, and no one appeared to raise objections; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Fire Prevention Officer is ordered to abate the nuisance declared by Resolution No. 83-150 by havinK the weeds, rubbish, and refuse removed and
