CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-181 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF STREET TREE PRUNING PROJECT ON <br />VARIOUS CITY STREETS, PROJECT NO. 83-3, AND <br />APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO TRI-VALLEY <br />TREE SURGEONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Tri-Valley Tree Surgeons on the street tree <br />pruning project on various city streets, Project <br />No. 83-3, has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br />payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the street tree Druning project on <br /> various city streets is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $26,087.00 in favor of <br /> Tri-Valley Tree Surgeons in satisfaction of the <br /> final progress payment for the above-accepted work <br /> on Project No. 83-3. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $2,608.70 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 10, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br />NOES <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers <br />Mayor Butler <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~.(~U~T <br /> ROBERT ~ <br /> <br /> eter D.
