CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-177 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO O'GRADY <br />PAVING,INC. FOR EAST ANGELA STREET RESUP~ACING, <br />PROJECT NO. 83-4 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for the <br />resurfacing of East Angela Street, Project No. <br />83-4; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on May 10, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the bid of O'Grady Paving, Inc., in the amount of <br />$80,780.00 was determined to be the lowest responsible <br />bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br />that the bid of O'Grady Paving, Inc. be accepted; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the available funds to complete this Project are <br />$90,000.00; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The bid of O'Grady Paving, Inc., in the amount <br />of $80,780.00, for resurfacing East Angela Street, <br />Project No. 83-4, is hereby accepted by the City <br />Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City is authorized to enter into a contract <br /> with O'Grady Paving, Inc. for the improvements <br /> specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 10, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />~JaTm~s R.
