and landscaping easements, together with landscaping <br /> irrigation; and all other improvements and <br /> appurtenances necessary for'a complete scheme of <br /> public improvements for Dublin Canyon Road, from the <br /> Pleasanton City Limits easterly to and including the <br /> intersection with Foothill Road, including a portion <br /> of Canyon Way, together with the acquisition of all <br /> necessary interests in real property. <br /> <br /> The Resolution of Intention was later amended. <br /> <br /> 3. The Engineer of Work filed the report as directed, <br />and the City Council called a hearing on the report as required <br />by Section 10301 of the Streets and Highways Code. Notice of <br />the hearing was given by publication, by street posting and by <br />mailing to affected property owners, all according to the <br />Municipal Improvement Act of 1913. Affidavits of publication, <br />posting and mailing were filed with the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> 4. The date for which notice was given to receive <br />construction bids was extended one week to April 20, 1983. An <br />addendum was issued to the construction specifications and this <br />Council hereby ratifies said extension of time for receipt of <br />construction bids. <br /> <br /> 5o At the time and place for which notice was given, <br />the City Council conducted a public hearing and gave every <br />interested pers6n an opportunity to ~bject to the proposed <br />improvement, the extent of the assessment district, or the <br />proposed assessment. Following the hearing, at the direction of <br />the City Council, the Engineer of Work filed an amended report. <br /> <br /> 6. The Council finds that written protests against <br />the proposed improvement have not been made by owners <br />representing more than one-half of the area of the land to be <br />assessed for the improvement. <br /> <br /> <br />
