CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-161 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO CASE PUD-79-13 PERTAINING <br />TO BUILDING HEIGHTS, SIZE OF TRUCKS, PERMITTED TRUCK <br />ROUTES, ETC. FOR VALLEY BUSINESS PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 26, 1983, the City Council <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration <br />for a major modification to Case PUD-79-13 pertaining <br />to building heights, size of trucks, permitted truck <br />routes and other possible changes to the zoning and <br />development plan for "Valley Business Park", an <br />approximately 70 acre industrial Dark now under <br />construction on the south side of Valley Avenue <br />im_mediately east of the residences on the east side <br />of Kolln Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated January 6, 1983 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Initial Study prepared by the City staff <br />indicated that there may be significant imDacts <br />upon the environment, but that conditions of <br />approval would render these potential impacts <br />insignificant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that based upon the review <br />of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- <br />mentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there may be significant impacts on the <br />environment, but that conditions listed in Section <br />1 below as mitigations render these potential <br />impacts insignificant; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
