AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT~ made and entered into by and between the CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, hereinafter referred to as "CITY'~ and RUTH AND GOING~ INC., <br />hereinafter relerred to as "CONSULTANT". <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CITY desires to contract for certain engineering and landscape <br /> <br />architectural services necessary for the design of a 20-acre Sports and Recreation Park, <br />located at Hopyard Road and Parkside Drive in the City of Pleasanton. The work shall <br />jr, elude design of four lighted softbail field% together with grading~ drainage~ parkings <br />p:anting, irrigations appurtenant structures, landscape lighting, utilities and all other <br />lealures necessary lot the development ol the Park, which for the purposes of this <br />Agreement shall be called the PRO3ECT, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ CONSULTANT is willing and qualified to do said engineering and <br />lan'Jscape architectural work; <br /> <br /> NQW~ THEREFORE~ in consideration of the mutual promises~ convertants and <br />agreements herein set forth, the parties do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. DUTIES OF CONSULTANT <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S professional services shall consist of the following: <br /> <br />A. Master Plan and Preliminary Design Phase <br /> <br />1- Review program and goals with Stall. <br /> <br />2. Collect background inlormation (on-site and oil-site). <br /> <br />3. Coordinate project planning with other public agencies and utilities. <br /> Conduct topographic survey and prepare map of topography and existing <br /> 'facilities. <br />5. Develop refined schematic plan. <br /> <br /> <br />
