RESOLUTION NO. 83-138 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br /> <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1982-5 FROMM BUSINESS PARK <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br />The City of Pleasanton has received public bids for <br />the construction of improvements in Assessment District <br /> <br />No. 1982-5, Fromm Business Park, City of PleasantOn, Alameda <br />County, California.' <br /> <br /> The Engineer of Work has reviewed the bids and now <br />recommends award of the construction contract to the lowest <br />responsible bidder, Bay Cities Paving & Grading, Inc., whose bid <br />price is $2,064,195.79. <br /> <br /> The City Council therefore awards the contract to that <br />bidder. All other bids are rejected. <br /> <br /> The City Council directs the City Clerk to publish a <br />notice of award of contract. <br /> <br /> The City Council authorizes and directs the Mayor and <br />the City Clerk to sign the written contract for this <br />construction when it is presented to them for signature, along <br />with the surety bonds and insurance jertificates required by the <br />construction specifications. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
