CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-130 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />GP-82-10, GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FOR PARK SITE <br />ON VINEYARD AVENUE <br /> <br />~'~EREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 12, 1983, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for GP-82-10, <br />a General Plan Amendment chan~ing the land use designa- <br />tion for the park site on Vineyard Avenue from <br />"Open Space-Parks and Recreation" to "High Density <br />Residential" and that portion west of Vineyard/Pico <br />to be changed to "Medium Density Residential"; and <br /> <br />I~HEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated December 30, 1982 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br />amendment would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Approves the Negative Declaration for GP-82-10 <br /> a General Plan amendment changing the land use <br /> designation for the park site on Vineyard Avenue <br /> from "Open Space-Parks and Recreation" to "High <br /> Density Residential" and that portion west of <br /> Vineyard/Pico to be changed to "Medium Density <br /> Residential." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 12, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
