CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-102 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF EASEMENT AGREEMENT FOR WEST LAS <br />POSITAS BOULEVARD WATER LINE CROSSINGS OF <br />SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of an Easement Agreement <br />from Southern Pacific Transportation Company to the <br />City of Pleasanton for an easement for water line <br />crossings within West Las Positas Boulevard at <br />the Souther Pacific right-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 22, 1983, the City Council <br />received a report from the Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities indicating that the acceptance <br />of this deed is in the Dublic interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The Easement Agreement (Deed) from Southern Pacific <br />Transportation Company to the City of Pleasanton <br />for West Las Positas Boulevard water line crossings <br />of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company <br />right-of-way is hereby accepted and the appropriate <br />City officers are instructed to take whatever <br />action necessary to implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 22, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE <br /> <br />AYES <br />NOES None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~' c/~f~,~.~y <br /> ER <br /> ROBERT L OR <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />
