RESOLUTION NO. 83-69 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS <br /> <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1982-5, <br /> FROMM BUSINESS PARK <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br />1. This City Council has given preliminary approval <br />to the report of the Engineer of Work for improvements in <br />Assessment District No. 1982-5, Fromm Business Park, City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County, California. The report includes <br />plans and specifications for the construction of improvements <br />described in the report. <br /> <br /> 2. The City of Pleasanton will receive sealed <br />proposals for this construction not later than 2:00 P.M. on <br />Wednesday, March 30, 1983, in the office of the City Clerk <br />located at 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. At that <br />time and place the sealed proposals will be publicly opened, <br />examined and declared. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Council reserves the power in its <br />discretion to reject all proposals. The award of construction <br />contract, if made, shall be made to the lowest responsible <br />bidder within the time fixed in the specifications (or any <br />extension of time agreed to by the City and the lowest <br />responsible bidder). <br /> <br /> 4. The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice <br />inviting sealed proposals in THE VALLEY TIMES in accordance with <br />the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913. The Engineer of Work is <br />authorized to give additional notice and to distribute <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
