CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-70 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING CASTLEWOOD SEWER ALLOCATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />due to the considerable pressure from the ReZi~ai <br />Water Quality Control Board to improve the S.~wage <br />treatment facilities at Castlewood Country Club, <br />Alameda County has requested Pleasanton to provide <br />sewage treatment through the City's agreement with <br />DSRSD: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />studies indicate Castlewood would require 61,000 <br />GPD and any allocation of capacity in this quantity <br />to property outside the City would significantly <br />reduce the capacity available to Pleasanton properties; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is appropriate to notify the County that the <br />City does not have excess capacity to allocate to <br />Castlewood in order that the County can proceed to <br />explore other alternatives; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Manager is authorized to send a letter <br /> to the County Public Works staff stating that <br /> Pleasanton does not have excess wastewater treatment <br /> and export capacity to allocate to Castlewood <br /> Country Club. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 22, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> <br />Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wjod and <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> MacDonald, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
