CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-59 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONSOLIDATING CERTAIN VOTING PRECINCTS <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR THE UPCOMING <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON APRIL 19, 1983 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 19, 1983, the City of Pleasanton will hold <br /> a referendum election; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />two of the existing voting precincts established in <br />Pleasanton show no registered voters residing in <br />them and one precinct has only one registered voter <br />in it; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Precincts #52071 and #52072 are hereby consolidated <br /> with precinct #52371. <br /> <br />Section 2: Precinct #52041 is hereby consolidated with precinct <br /> #52040. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective irmmediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 22, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - <br />Mayor Butler <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br />ATTEST: ROBERT E. ~UT~ER, ~YOR <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter . ac ona , ity torne <br /> <br /> <br />
