CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-37 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO TRI- <br />VALLEY TREE SURGEONS FOR STREET TREE PRUNING <br />ON VARIOUS CITY STREETS, PROJECT NO. 83-3 <br /> <br />I~MEREAS, <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for <br />street tree pruning on various City streets, <br />Project No. 83-3; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on February 8, <br /> 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the bid of Tri-Valley Tree Surgeons, in the amount <br />of $25,512 was determined to be the lowest responsible <br />bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br />that the bid of Tri-Valley Tree Surgeons be accepted; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the available funds to complete this project are <br /> $25,700.00; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The bid of Tri-Valley Tree Surgeons, in the <br /> amount of $25,512.00, for street tree pruning on <br /> various City streets, Project No. 83-3, is hereby <br /> accepted by the City Council as the lowest responsible <br /> bid. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2: The City is authorized to enter <br /> with Tri-Valley Tree Surgeons for <br /> specified above. <br /> <br />into a contract <br />the improvements <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 8, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
