CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-35 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF PRUDENTIAL'S OFFER TO FUND MASTER <br />PLAN STUDY OF THE DSRSD PLANT SITE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />both increased treatment and disposal capacity are <br />needed by the sewer system of the City of Pleasanton <br />and the Dublin San Ramon Services District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the first step in creating this additional sewer <br />capacity is the preparation of an updated master <br />plan for the wastewater treatment plant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />DSRSD has received <br />Brown and Caldwell, <br />the site at a cost <br /> <br />a proposal from their engineers, <br />to prepare the Master Plan for <br />of $139,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a letter <br />1983 from The Prudential Insurance <br />America offering to underwrite the <br />study up to $139,000; <br /> <br />dated January <br />Company of <br />cost of the <br /> <br />7, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br /> hereby accepts the offer of Prudential Insurance <br /> Company, a copy of which is attached hereto, to <br /> fund the Master Plan Study of the DSRSD plant site <br /> and requests DSRSD to proceed with the study as <br /> proposed in the Brown and Caldwell agreement. <br /> <br />Section 2: The consideration to Prudential Insurance Company <br /> shall be the benefits derived from the study and no <br /> further consideration from the City is requested by <br /> Prudential. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 25, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
