CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-33 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED FAU STREET PROJECTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />due to a recent modification in the agreement with <br />Caltrans regarding funding of the West Las Positas <br />overcrossing of 1-580, approximately $480,000 of <br />previously allocated FAU funding has been released <br />for use on other projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton's share of the 1982-83 FAU funding is <br /> expected to be approximately $150,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the County has asked that we advise them of the <br />projects we want to construct utilizing the previously <br />allocated funds and the expected 82-83 funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities presented <br />his report dated January 19, 1983 to the Council <br />outlining the recommended FAU projects; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the following Proposed FAU Projects: <br /> <br />Project 1 <br /> <br />Traffic Signals at the following locations: <br /> <br />(a) Del Valle Parkway at Main Street <br />(b) Del Valle Parkway at Hopyard Road <br />(c) Pico Avenue at Sunol Boulevard <br />(d) Foothill Road at West Las Positas <br /> <br />$ 85,000 <br /> 85,000 <br /> 125,000 <br /> 100,000 <br /> <br />Total $395,000 <br /> <br />Project 2 <br /> <br />Improve new Bernal Avenue from W.P. <br />Underpass to First Street <br /> <br />$250,000 <br /> <br />TOTAL PROGRAM <br /> <br />$645,000 <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 25, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
