CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-31 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL PRE- <br />TREATMENT PROGRAM AND APPROVING AMENDMENT OF <br />THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN DSRSD AND THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the EPA, through the Regional Water Quality Control <br />Board, requires all treatment plants to develop and <br />implement a pretreatment program for industrial <br />users; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the firm of Brown and Caldwell were retained to <br />develop this proRram and have submitted their report <br />for Council's review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />in order to implement this program, it is necessary <br />to amend the existing agreement between the City of <br />Pleasanton and Dublin San Ramon Services District <br />relating to joint sewage treatment and disposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in his report dated January 19, 1983, the Director <br />of Public Works and Utilities presented the proposed <br />pretreatment program and the proposed amendment to <br />the agreement between the City and DSRSD: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the proposed Industrial Pretreatment <br /> Program for DSRSD and the City of Pleasanton (Brown <br /> and Caldwell report of April 1982). <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br /> Approves the proposed amendment of the agreement <br />between DSRSD and the City of Pleasanton relating <br />to joint sewage treatment and disposal by resolution <br />a copy of said amendment is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 25, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE <br /> <br /> <br />
