CITY COUNCIL OF THE CItY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ~ALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-620 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF FINANCING PROGRAM FOR THE PURCHASE OF A <br />3-TON ROLLER AND TRAILER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the 1984-85FY Capital Improvement Program includes the <br />purchase of a 3-ton roller ~nd trailer for a budgeted <br />amount of $33,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Ingersoll-Rand in the amount of $29,804.03, <br /> was determined to be the lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) is <br />organizing a financing program that would allow the city <br />to lease/purchase this equipment at a financing rate of <br />approximately nine percent (9%); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the lease/purch <br /> trailer from Ingersoll-Rand <br /> financing program. <br /> <br />FHE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />~se of a 3-ton roller and <br />through the ABAG VI <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 11, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />- Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~E~R~ <br /> <br />PeJ~e~ D. ~acDon~ld, City ~ttorney <br /> <br /> <br />
