CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-606 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF 1985 GROWTH MANAGEMENT PROGRAM ALLOCATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Growth Management Program requires the yearly <br />setting of a target number for residential dwelling <br />units to be constructed, the number set aside for lower <br />income units, those units available to smaller projects, <br />as well as establishing the guidelines for the yearly <br />selection of smaller projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received a staff report containing <br />recommendations for the Growth Management Program <br />parameters requiring yearly determination by the City <br />Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />pursuant to the Growth Management Program Ordinance, a <br />public hearing was held at which time public testimony <br />was heard considering these matters; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council has considered the General Plan growth <br />rate policy, the number of units approved in long-term <br />agreements, previously authorized but undeveloped units, <br />prior years' authorized units, and the comments received <br />at the public hearing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council finds its determinations listed below <br /> meet the General Plan goals and policies; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That 151 units be set aside for smaller projects and <br /> the application period for smaller projects shall begin <br /> December 4, 1984, for a one week period, with units to <br /> be allocated on a first come, first served basis if no <br /> more than 151 units are requested, but if more than 151 <br /> units are requested, then Council will make a decision <br /> on the issuance of permits and that every developer be <br /> notified of the date to apply for permits. <br /> <br />Section 2: That 28 units be set aside for low-income housing, <br /> bringing the cumulative total to 35. <br /> <br />Section 3: That 100 units be set aside for long-term agreements. <br /> <br />Section 4: The target number of residential units shall be 800. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
