CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84~598 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br />COMPANY FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FOR A THREE STORY, 148 ROOM <br />HOTEL AND RESTAURANT ON APPROXIMATELY 5.34 ACRES ON THE <br />EAST SIDE OF HOPYARD ROAD, 350 FEET SOUTH OF GIBRALTAR <br />DRIVE (PUD-81-30-24D) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Prudential Insurance Company has applied for design <br />approval for a three story, 148 room hotel and <br />restaurant on an approximately 5.34 acre site located <br />the east side of Hopyard Road, 350 feet south of <br />Gibraltar Drive in the Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br />development plan of the subject site (PUD-81-30) <br />including the typical architectural and site designs for <br />individual lots, and there are no changed circumstances <br />or new information requiring additional environmental <br />review; therefore, this application does not constitute <br />a new project under CEQA and no new environmental <br />documents accompany this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on November 27, 1984 and <br />testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br />including its design, cumulative impact, consistency <br />with PUD-81-30 and the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the poject is consistent <br /> with PUD-81-30 as well as the City's General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Prudential Insurance <br /> Company for design approval for a three story, 148 room <br /> hotel and restaurant on an approximately 5.34 acre site <br /> located on the east side of Hopyard Road, 350 feet south <br /> of Gibraltar Drive in the Hacienda Business Park, <br /> subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit A, attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 27, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
