CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-587 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING VALLEY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL BOARD <br />REQUEST FOR EXEMPTION FROM THE THREE NORTH PLEASANTON <br />IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 13, 1984, Council received <br />and reviewed a letter dated November 12, 1984 from <br />Valley Memorial Hospital requesting exemption from the <br />financial requirements of the three assessment districts <br />in the North Pleasanton area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />based upon evidence received and testimony taken, it was <br />determined to be appropriate to grant the requested <br />exemption; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council hereby directs the bond counsel and engineer <br /> of work for the following assessment districts to exempt <br /> the Valley Memorial Hospital site from any financial <br /> requirements for the assessment districts if a hospital <br /> facility is located on the property: <br /> <br />North Pleasanton Fire Improvement District 1984 <br />North Pleasanton Improvement District (Traffic <br />North Pleasanton Water Improvement District <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution is made subject to Valley Memorial <br /> Hospital entering an agreement with the City providing <br /> that if for any reason the subject lands are sold <br /> without construction of the hospital that Valley <br /> Memorial Hospital will pay to the City of Pleasanton the <br /> total amount of assessments which would otherwise have <br /> been paid plus accrued interest for use in reducing <br /> outstanding assessments for the specified assessment <br /> districts. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 13, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
