CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-586 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING APPLICATION OF KENNETH CHIN AND <br />PLEASANTON SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN APPROVAL FOR A FIVE UNIT RESIDENTIAL PROJECT ON .9 <br />ACRES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ABBIE STREET BETWEEN THE OLD <br />TOWNE DEVELOPMENT AND THE RESIDENCES ON THE EAST SIDE OF <br />WHITING STREET (PUD-84-6) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Pleasanton School District and Kenneth Chin applied <br />for rezoning and development plan approval for a five <br />unit residential development on an approximately .9 acre <br />site, located on the north side of Abbie Street between <br />the Old Towne development and the residences on the east <br />side of Whiting Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on November 13,1984, at which <br />time the public was given an opportunity to comment on <br />the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a considerable number of the neighbors of the proposed <br />project appeared before Council in opposition to this <br />project citing problems with density and traffic; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The City Council hereby denies the application of the <br />Pleasanton School District and Kenneth Chin for rezoning <br />and development plan approval for a five unit <br />residential development on an approximately .9 acre <br />site, located on the north side of Abbie Street, between <br />the Old Towne development and the residences on the east <br />side of Whiting Street. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 13, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
