CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-566 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />PREZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 276 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE <br />WEST SIDE OF FOOTHILL ROAD OPPOSITE STONERIDGE DRIVE TO <br />THE PUD-LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 30, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for prezoning <br />the approximately 276 acre site located on the west side <br />of Foothill Road opposite Stoneridge Drive and extending <br />westerly and northerly to Dublin Canyon Road to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential and <br />Open Space District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated October 1, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for prezoning the <br /> approximately 276 acre site located on the west side of <br /> Foothill Road opposite Stoneridge Drive and extending <br /> westerly and northerly to Dublin Canyon Road to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential and <br /> Open Space District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 30, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
