CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-565 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PUD <br />ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR TWO MEDICAL <br />OFFICE BUILDINGS AND A RETAIL SHOPPING CENTER ON 7.7 <br />ACRES SOUTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA RITA ROAD <br />AND WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD ADJACENT TO THE EXXON <br />SERVICE STATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 30, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) zoning and development plan <br />approval to construct two medical office buildings <br />totaling approximately 51,000 sq. ft., and a retail <br />shopping center totaling approximately 53,000 sq. ft., <br />on the approximately 7.7 acre site located southeast of <br />the intersection of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas <br />Boulevard adjacent to the Exxon Service Station; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated October 2, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and <br />development plan approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and <br />development plan approval would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for PUD (Planned <br /> Unit Development) zoning and development plan approval <br /> to construct two medical office buildings totaling <br /> approximately 51,000 sq. ft., and a retail shopping <br /> center totaling approximately 53,000 sq. ft., on the <br /> approximately 7.7 acre site located southeast of the <br /> intersection of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard adjacent to the Exxon Service Station. <br /> <br /> <br />
