CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-559 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANT OF EASEMENT TO ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, ZONE 7 - <br />FOR ADMINISTRATION BUILDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City has been working in conjunction with Zone 7 to <br />provide the land necessary for construction of their new <br />administration building at the intersection of Parkside <br />Drive and Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Council previously reverted 0.864 acres of the site to <br />the National Park Service, which was then transferred to <br />Zone 7; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Zone 7 is now requesting that the remainder of the site <br />(2.336 acres) be used for a parking lot and landscaping; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 30, 1984, Council reviewed the <br />report of the Director of Public Works' and Utilities <br />recommending the transfer of the remainder of the site <br />to Zone 7; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the Grant of Easement <br />from the City of Pleasanton to Zone 7 of Alameda County <br />Flood Control and Water Conservation District for a <br />parking lot and landscaping adjacent to its new <br />administrative headquarters to be used jointly by the <br />City of Pleasanton and Zone 7. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 30, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
