CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-546 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION OF ALAMEDA <br />COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT'S <br />APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS UNDER THE LAKES, RESERVOIRS, <br />AND WATERWAYS PROGRAM OF THE CALIFORNIA PARK AND <br />RECREATION FACILITIES ACT OF 1984 FOR ARROYO DEL VALLE <br />PATHWAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />pursuant to a 1971 agreement between the City and Zone <br />7, the Arroyo del Valle includes a right-of-way <br />available for park and recreational purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />California Park and Recreation Facility Act of 1984 <br />provides $5 million for Lakes, Reservoirs and Waterways <br />for fiscal year 1985-86 on a statewide competitive <br />basis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the Arroyo del Valle Pathway Project would be consistent <br />with the master plans for the City of Pleasanton and <br />East Bay Regional Park District <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The City Council supports the application for grant <br />funds under the Lakes, Reservoirs and Waterways Program <br />of the California Parks and Recreational Facilities Act <br />of 1984 for the Arroyo Del Valle Pathway Project by the <br />Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation <br />District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 30, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
