RESOLUTION NO. 84-532 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS <br /> <br />NORTH PLEASANTON FIRE PROTECTION ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1982-6 <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> The City of Pleasanton has received public bids for the <br /> construction of a fire station and for the construction of off-site <br /> improvements in North Pleasanton Fire Protection Assessment District <br /> No. 1982-6, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California. <br /> <br /> The Engineer of Work has reviewed the bids and now <br />recommends award of the construction contracts to the lowest <br />responsible bidders, as follows: <br /> <br /> Fire Station: Nelson T. Lewis Construction Co., Inc. <br /> Bid Price: $1,670,000.00 <br /> Off-Site: O.C. Jones & Sons <br /> Bid Price: $271,103.60 <br /> <br /> The City Council therefore awards the respective contracts <br />to these bidders. All other bids are rejected. <br /> <br /> The City Council directs the City Clerk to publish a <br />notice of award of contracts. <br /> <br /> The City Council authorizes and directs the Mayor and the <br />City Clerk to sign the written contracts for this construction when <br />they are presented to them for signature, along with the surety <br />bonds and insurance certificates required by the construction <br />specifications. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
