RESOLUTION NO. 84-530 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REPORT AND ASSESSMENT <br /> AND ORDERING IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />NORTH PLEASANTON FIRE PROTECTION ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1982-6 <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> This Council has taken a series of actions preliminary to <br /> ordering the improvement in North Pleasanton Fire Protection <br /> Assessment District No. 1982-6, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, <br /> California, and now makes the following findings and orders: <br /> <br /> 1. The Council adopted a map showing the boundaries of <br /> the land benefited by the proposed improvement. A copy of the <br /> boundary map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of the <br /> County of Alameda in the Book of Maps of Assessment Districts. <br /> <br /> 2. The Council adopted its Resolution of Intention to <br /> order the improvement described therein under the Municipal <br /> Improvement Act of 1913, and directed MARK THOMAS & COMPANY, INC., <br /> as the Engineer of Work for the assessment district, to prepare the <br /> report required by Section 10204 of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br /> The improvement is generally described as follows: <br /> <br /> a. The construction a fire station designed to house three (3) <br /> pieces of first-line fire apparatus and 27 personnel on three <br /> shifts, together with necessary offices, storage space, <br /> workshop, classroom, exercise room and living quarters, totaling <br /> approximately 12,464 square feet, together with all necessary <br /> appurtenances, and the acquisition and improvement of a site <br /> approximately 1.11 acres in size for the station to be located <br /> on the east side of Stoneridge Mall Road north of Stoneridge <br /> Drive. <br /> <br />b. The construction of a Fire Training Facility including a five- <br /> story training tower, smoke room and hot-fire room containing <br /> approximately 3,000 square feet, together with all necessary <br /> appurtenances; and the acquisition and improvement of a site <br /> approximately 2.5 acres in size for the training facility. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
