CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-526 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE ELEMENT <br />DESIGNATION OF APPROXIMATELY 3.3 ACRES AT THE NORTHEAST <br />CORNER OF PARKSIDE DRIVE AND HOPYARD ROAD CHANGING IT <br />FROM "OPEN SPACE (PARKS AND RECREATION)" TO "COMMUNITY <br />FACILITIES (PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL)" <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 16, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for an <br />amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element <br />designation of an approximately 3.3 acre site located at <br />the northeast corner of the intersection of Parkside <br />Drive and Hopyard Road changing it from Open Space <br />(Parks and Recreation) to Community Facilities (Public <br />and Institutional); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated September 18, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS in <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br />amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the General Plan Land Use Element designation of an <br /> approximately 3.3 acre site located at the northeast <br /> corner of the intersection of Parkside Drive and Hopyard <br /> Road changing it from Open Space (Parks and Recreation) <br /> to Community Facilities (Public and Institutional). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 16, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
