CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-524 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />(GP-84-12) AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN 1AND USE <br />ELEMENT DESIGNATION OF THE 0.647 ACRE SITE AT THE <br />NORTHWEST CORNER OF OWENS COURT AND OWENS DRIVE FROM <br />"GENERAL AND LIMITED INDUSTRIAL" TO "COMMERCIAL AND <br />OFFICES" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 16, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for an <br />amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element <br />designation of the 0.647 acre site located at the <br />northwest corner of the intersection of Owens Court and <br />Owens Drive, from "General and Limited Industrial" to <br />"Commercial and Offices"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated September 18, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br />amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the General Plan Land Use Element designation of the <br /> 0.647 acre site located at the northwest corner of the <br /> intersection of Owens Court and Owens Drive, from <br /> "General and Limited Industrial" to "Commercial and <br /> Offices". <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 16, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
